Shiba Inu Forecast October 2026: SHIB Burns, BONE and Liquidity Tests

Published on

October 2026 preview · Research cutoff: September 13, 2026. October outcomes are not yet known. This article separates documented facts, conditional analysis and hypothetical examples; it is not a live quote service.

For Shiba Inu in October 2026, the useful question is not how many zeros SHIB can remove, but whether sustainable demand and usable liquidity improve relative to supply. A token burn, a Shibarium announcement and a social-media trend are different pieces of evidence. None alone supports a reliable month-end price target.

SHIB and BONE are not interchangeable

The project’s Shibarium architecture documentation identifies BONE as the staking token used by validators and delegators. It describes separate validator and block-production layers with checkpoints on Ethereum. SHIB holders should not assume that holding SHIB is equivalent to staking BONE or that every network reward is paid to SHIB holders.

The project’s August 2024 ShibTorch launch explanation describes a mechanism that accumulates BONE fees, converts a portion into SHIB and burns SHIB. That dated announcement explains a design; it does not verify today’s operating parameters or October 2026 completed burn totals. It is a project publication, not independent evidence of investment performance.

Our research implication is to trace the full economic link: actual network use, fees generated, any conversion into SHIB and a completed burn transaction. A faster chain or a larger transaction count does not by itself quantify the effect on SHIB’s tradable supply.

Burn-rate percentages need a denominator

A headline reporting that burns rose 1,000% can sound much more significant than the underlying amount. In a hypothetical example, an increase from 1 million to 11 million tokens is indeed a 1,000% increase. If the relevant supply were 500 trillion tokens, however, the 11 million total would be only 0.0000022% of that supply.

Those quantities are invented solely to demonstrate the calculation; they are not current SHIB supply or burn observations. The lesson is to record both the absolute tokens removed and the percentage of a clearly defined supply measure. A percentage change from a very small prior burn is not the same as a large percentage reduction in supply.

Price also depends on demand. A small reduction in supply cannot guarantee that new buyers will pay more, and weakening demand can outweigh a larger burn. Verify that tokens were actually removed under the claimed mechanism rather than treating a promised or pending burn as completed.

The one-cent question is a market-cap calculation

For any token, implied circulating market capitalization equals price multiplied by circulating supply. With a purely hypothetical supply of 500 trillion tokens, a $0.01 price implies a $5 trillion circulating market capitalization. This does not state SHIB’s current supply, predict that price or assert that $5 trillion must literally flow into the token.

It does show why a low unit price is not evidence that an asset is cheap. Token count matters. A defensible target would state the dated supply figure, assumed supply changes, demand rationale, time horizon and risks. Removing zeros from the price without those assumptions is not a valuation method.

An October SHIB evidence checklist

On small screens, swipe horizontally to see all columns.

Signal Evidence to record Trap to avoid
Burn announcement Completed transaction, amount, period and supply denominator A percentage spike means a large supply reduction
Shibarium growth Sustained use, fees and the actual connection to SHIB BONE utility automatically creates equivalent SHIB demand
Social attention Persistence and independently checked trading conditions Followers or trending hashtags guarantee buying power
Market liquidity Executable prices, depth, fees and withdrawal availability A displayed price guarantees the same exit for every holder

This checklist is our analytical framework, not a report that the conditions have been met. Using the same definitions each week makes it easier to distinguish a durable change from a one-day spike.

What makes October different from a generic SHIB guide?

The Fed’s published schedule places an October meeting on October 27–28. At this article’s cutoff, even September’s policy decision is still ahead. October’s broader risk environment is therefore unresolved, and no historical seasonal nickname is used as evidence of a guaranteed rally.

Compare SHIB’s performance and liquidity with the broader crypto market over the same window. A market-wide rally offers weaker evidence of SHIB-specific improvement than a change supported by its own supply and demand data. The October Bitcoin outlook provides that companion perspective.

Three conditional cases

  • Constructive: sustained demand and credible liquidity improve, supported by verifiable ecosystem activity. Reconsider if activity or liquidity disappears when promotional attention fades.
  • Mixed: development and community interest continue, but burns are small relative to supply or their connection to token demand remains weak.
  • Adverse: attention fades, market liquidity thins or broader risk appetite weakens. A small unit price and occasional burns do not provide downside protection.

FAQ: Will SHIB reach $0.01 in October 2026?

This preview provides no evidence supporting that outcome and makes no numerical target. Start with the market-cap arithmetic and the source checks above. A target repeated on social media is still an assertion, not verified demand.

FAQ: Where should I start my research?

Use read-only official documentation and independently verify important transaction claims. Reading a market preview does not require connecting a wallet, approving a token allowance or sending funds to an alleged support account. Educational analysis, not personalized investment advice. Scenarios are not guaranteed outcomes or trading signals. Digital assets and currency products can lose value; leverage, custody failures and poor liquidity can magnify losses.
