A simple pre-event checklist.

1. Confirm the timing

Check the displayed time zone and date. A release time in another region may fall on a different local day.

2. Separate the columns

Previous, forecast and actual values describe different things. A forecast is an estimate, not a confirmed result.

3. Verify the release

Use the original publication to confirm figures and revisions. A calendar entry alone is not enough to establish the full context.
